Granted about SpaceX / Astra, but I'm wondering if the market has seen any similar trend in exits to traditional / incumbent aerospace companies? I'm curious if the large aerospace companies will now or in the near future become more acquisitive buyers of venture-funded space startups.
There have not yet been notable exits of venture backed companies to the traditional legacy defense contractors. However, I think those are likely to come as well and the first companies to be acquired will probably be those that received early investments from the corporate venture arms of the defense contractors, such as Lockheed Martin Ventures or Boeing Horizon X ventures.
